Finding Your Secret Sauce: The Creative Process You Should Expect When You Hire A Photographer.

Let’s just get this out of the way:
You’re not supposed to know exactly what you need.
That’s our job.

You don’t need to come in with a shot list, a strategy, or a crystal-clear vision. You just need to know you’ve got something good—and you’re ready to show it off. That’s where we come in.

Because when you hire the right photography team, you're not just getting pretty pictures. You’re getting a process that draws out your secret sauce and turns it into imagery that actually works—on menus, mobile apps, packaging, websites, and anywhere your people find you.

More Than a Photoshoot. A Whole Strategy.

When clients work with me—and my team of stylists, producers, and creative partners—we’re not just showing up with cameras and crossing our fingers. We’re stepping into your brand story and asking the big-picture questions:

  • Who are you trying to reach?

  • Where are these photos going?

  • What’s the feeling you want people to walk away with?

  • How does this content support the next step in your growth?

Because great photography isn’t just visual.
It’s emotional. It’s strategic.
It’s business-savvy storytelling that sets the tone and moves the needle.

Here’s How It Works (And Yes, We Make It Easy)

 1. Discovery
You bring your ideas, your chaos, your mood boards, your “we just know we need something.” We ask the right questions, get curious, dig deep, and find your secret sauce.

 2. Planning + Logistics
Once the direction is clear, we get organized. Who’s involved, what’s being shot, where and when it’s happening. We build a shoot plan that fits your goals and your calendar.

 3. Production Day
The fun part. We shoot, collaborate, check images live, and make sure every shot lines up with your brand. This is the part where ideas become visuals—and everyone gets excited.

 4. Post-Production & Formatting
We don’t just send you a folder of files and disappear. We format your images with intention—social-ready crops, web-optimized sizes, print resolution files, and everything labeled so your team isn’t digging through chaos later.

5. Support That Sticks Around
We’re not the ghost-you-after-delivery type. We check in. We follow up. And when it’s time for the next shoot, a seasonal refresh, or your new mobile app launch—we’re already thinking ahead.

Need design help to actually use the images?
I know a gal. 😉
We give a damn and won’t leave you high and dry. We want to see your vision come to life. We want people to really see you!

Still not sure what you need? That’s not a problem—it’s a starting point.
Let’s build from there.

Coming soon: mobile app visuals in action, a conversation with creative producer Abbey Baker, and some behind-the-scenes from recent projects.

Hugs and creative clarity,
Brittany
